That dub is a worldwide affair has already been proven by several dub compilations, e. g. Roots of Dub Funk (CD) or Dub Shoe Episode 1 (LP). The netlabel Fresh Poulp Records proves the same thing on a free downloadable MP3 compilation called Dub Tentacles Volume 1.
What you get is a 12 track strong package full of nice dub flavours, some rootically, some heavy stepping, some actually with vocals, some with melodies, some strictly riddimwise. So, something for everyone for sure. If you like Dub. But I suppose this is something I can take for granted, otherwise you wouldn't read this.
Let's look at the artists: Dubzoic (Italy), Firuzaga (Turkey), I&I Djangdan (South Korea!), Bandulu Dub (Portugal), Dubosmium (Morocco), Daily Bread Dub (USA), Riddim Conference (Japan), Dubalizer (Brazil), Kukan Dub Algan (Israel), Intergalaktik Sound (Finland), Dove Dub Sound System (Poland) and Le Chaudron Magique (France). That is definitely a worldwide thing! All continents except Australia are represented.
From the loneliness of the 6-months sun-free snow fields of Finland, perfectly put on by the melancholic melodies of "Liberation" to the hot burning African sun in "Step By Step" (isn't that a Vibronics riddim here?) to the beauty of the Japanese morning sun in "Cool Steppin", what more could one ask for?
Well, for example, I would ask for proper mixing of released songs, even if the release is for free. While the overall loudness of the songs is quite similar, the quality of the mixes definitely varies a bit too much. Nevertheless, this is just a small critical comment, more important is that the critic is only about the mix-quality and not the songs themselves. Most of the songs are just great, I wouldn't even know which ones to recommend warmly to you. Just too many... maybe start with song number one "Let There Be Dub" and continue your way through to "Cool Steppin", move further to "Soldiers of Dub" and then settle down with "Liberation". But don't forget all the songs in between.
And where do you get all this? Right here.
