Detailed review:
I don't really know what I should do with this release. I'm confused between "I like it a lot" and "what the heck". And these feelings or thoughts always happen while I listen to the song. System Error is a reggae crew from Greece and "Time Bomb" is their debut release. They got Michael Rose as guest vocalist and he delivers a standard good job as you would expect it from him.

The riddim has a fat beat, might even think it would be more a hip hop than a reggae beat. Although then again it sounds like a a steppers beat, just with a very quiet bassdrum. See, I'm confused. ;) The bassline is ace, it goes up the scale from time to time and I love it if the bass is used like that. Especially if it comes unexpected.

What doesn't fit into the song is the brass section which is the typical nowadays Zion Train / Abassi / Deep Root / Universal Egg horny horns style. Does it have to be involved everywhere? It already destroyed (now, that's maybe a bit too harsh written)the original Radikal Dub Kolektiv sound. Also, here, it just annoys me. Brass is nice from time to time. But not all the time, please.

The dub version is mixed by Dub Terror and it sounds okay apart from the aforementioned problems. At least it's not a Dubstep version. ;)

You can get the record in the Wobblyweb Shop.
