Detailed review:

Webcam Hi-Fi's "Hot" is a very melodic, laid-back riddim which is overloaded with "sunshine reggae" flavour, if you know what I mean. It's the perfect soundtrack for a pop reggae festival at the beach where you meet people who say: "I love Reggae, Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Sean Paul, UB-40, you know. But who is this Dub artist you mentioned?" ;)

Tony Tuff seems to be the right vocalist for this kind of tune. Fits totally (trying to sound neutrally here). A "hot" horn and melodica cut add even more summeresque flavour and are way too sweet for my ears. I have to honestly say that I couldn't stand this tune too much if it wouldn't have a pretty nice dub cut where most of the melodies and lead instruments have been taken out and what is left is actually a quite cool riddim, easy-going but definitely with some depth in it.

So, once again I realise that I just don't like melodies and stuff. Just the riddim and some effects, please. I guess it's absolutely no wonder why DUB is the only music I really like. ;) www.webcamhi-fi.com has samples and information.
