Result: Dubby stuff - for free

Detailed review:
Actually, I'm struggling with reviewing free releases. I have done it now for quite a while but I must say that there are so many free MP3 dubs available nowadays that it's already an overkill. There is more available than being demanded. And there is also a lot of minor stuff available. So, when people get thousands of free MP3 dubs, many don't buy the vinyls anymore because they think: Why pay for something, if we get similar stuff for free? That's NOT good!

So, in my opinion, I think no dub artist should offer his (or her) music for free. If it's good music, then ask for a little fee, maybe only 50 Euro-Cents or whatever. Just something, to make the people learn to pay for music again. And if the music is not good enough to ask for money for it... well, DON'T offer it at all then! Seen? That sounds like a pretty easy solution to fix the current market situation, doesn't it? (At least in theory, as always.)

OK, but when I decide to review the "Manifestations" album nonetheless, what does it tell you? That I think it's worth mentioning anyway. I have found this "album" by luck, mainly due to the interesting name of the band. They deliver here six pieces of music in a dubby orbit, a bit of ambient, atmospheric sounds, you know the deal. That's how it sounds if you skywalk (whatever this means) on a red lunar (wouldn't it hurt though?).

I think there are some nice songs for in between, just to relax a bit ("Universal Tone Dub Version") or to swing and sway a bit ("A Prophecy of Realization"). And since it's free, why don't you just click here and get the tunes. Maybe the band decided to ask for some money for their music soon in order to help keep the dub scene alive?
